RUSTY CASE [101] - the first note  [ 14 May 2000 ]

Yes , it has been going around the office for a while now and now it's official ! Version 1.0 is upon us very soon ! But as WC comes of age ... what exactly is it about ? There has been something weird about this office the minute I stepped into it . So I decide to investigate ....  Recently I've been going through some of the author's rough notes and I found this ;

The author insist that he never seen it before ... yet it is his hand writing !! I don't know what this could mean for the future of WC , blackwool ?!And who are agent ed , agent x , do they work for WC too ??!!..... it's a whole conspiracy at work ! Could WC be a cover up operation of a mass scale ?? What evil hides behinds the HTML codes of the sites ?? I must admit , I am starting to become more suspicious of things around here  ....  and what will happen when black wool ends ?!! Could xfer234 be some form of experimental weapon designated victims being the net surfers ?! Why did WC even begin !! I believe there's more than meets the eye here at WC ... come back next week as I investigate deeper ..... and find myself a cute female counterpart ......  

Rusty Case [101] blackwool [ 21 May 2000 ]

The note bearing code names that trouble me ... especially ... blackwool . What it is , nobody knows ... or is it nobody dares to know ? Nevertheless , the truth must come out . The week passes and I have gathered as much resource as I possibly can . Finding ways to decipher the nature of blackwool . But I'm afraid that I may be to late , for according to the first note .... black wool has already ended on 20th May . Despite what the note states , my sources tell me that a cover up operation involving the activities of the author as well as 2 other accomplices possibly agent X and agent ED .

As details are still sketchy , it does seem pretty strange because nowadays there are 2 faces that pop in and out of the office every now and then ..... as though they are observing us . Further investigation suggest theories to eliminate the WC website completely . An operation indeed that requires manpower no doubt supplied by the 2 mysterious figures . But why would the author start a website and destroy his work ?  Why this is , is beyond me .... and this serves only as a sign for the troubled times ahead . As for the May 20th Dateline , I suspect it signals the end for the website . I doubt the weeks ahead . Could this possibly be the final weeks of WC ?? Will the staff here suffer an end unknown to them ? What is the truth ? Where is the truth ? 

Rusty Case [101] The end is near  [ 28 May 2000 ]

What is it that we have done to deserve this ? Have I kept my eyes closed too long  ? Apparently everybody is anticipating the new site to relaunch next Sunday .... But are they blind to see that we are coming to an end ?! It has to be as the the 2 mysterious people who waltz in and out as they please ...... seem to be working behind our backs ... yet , no one in the office notices . As of now Xfer234 would have been 'out there' for some time now ..... what it is actually , I may never live to know . 

And yet I still refer to the first note , the note that spun off this conspiracy .... As I further read the note again  .... I start to wonder if our news editor Gary Young is at all really working for us .... or is he one of  'them' ? And who are 'they' exactly ? Apparently , I have also noticed that , before Blackwool , There was already an operation called Operation Coded Armor - which ended with Chris and myself's recruitment to the staff . Could it be possible that I am in fact a guinea pig in a grand experiment with the Author as the shadowy mastermind behind an online conspiracy ? 

I can only hope that we all survive this week , If this is in fact the last days of WC .... 

RUSTY CASE [101] : Revelations

The week that has passed , has brought to me more answers and equally as much questions . Though there is the word of termination of the staff circulating , it is finally revealed to me that we are not going anywhere at all , in fact the whole staff is given huge raises as a little 'gift' as we make Version 1.0 . What comes most startling to me is the inaccuracy of my conspiracy theories . The story is like so , just after I had uploaded the last update at our old URL No3L.tripod.com , the 2 mysterious people who have been observing the staff , grabbed me and put a sock in my mouth , while sticking a syringe up my neck ... apparently I had passed out and awoke in a pitch black place . I could not see , but I could feel my hands and legs strapped on to a hard bed . 

Then , the truth was revealed to me ..... the lights suddenly switched on , and standing before me were the the mysterious agents . I was in awe as I had thought I knew it all along ...... but then , one of the agents spoke , and he said "Rusty , I'm the chief designer for the New Reno website , and this is my colleague who assists me in my work , just as you assist your author ." "We have been observing you and the rest of the staff as well working behind your backs with the author .  Why you ask , we have been helping out with some of the site's designs and we helped to make WarPC V1.0 come true . " " Why we work in secrecy is none of your concerns , all you have to know is that we have it under control , and by the way ,  blackwool is in fact a cover up operation ; not what you had expected , but it was  to conceal information about the new URL as well as some of the site's more 'sensitive' secrets . " "All you have to worry now is finishing up your work on the new website ........ "  

And then as I was about to ask a question - the lights go out again and as I open my eyes again , I discovered myself on my bed , 8:00AM , in my pajamas . And now, I have never been more paranoid in my life before , sure they say they helped out with the site designs , but they never revealed their names to me .... or is it they have no names ? And what can be confirmed is the fact that Blackwool is a cover up operation but why would they conspire to cover up information regarding this URL ? And what kind of sensitive material lie within the this website ? A man can only know so much , and what if I know too much , what's going to happen then ?
